A couple weekends ago, Jason and I spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Country Apple Orchard picking a few pumpkins and sampling delicious apple goodies. We should have brought our own wagon (like many of the more experienced pumpkiners), but we were still able to fill our arms with a few Katy-sized pumpkins for our house.
We went in the middle of the afternoon, and the fields were still filled with rows of pumpkins. Next year we go earlier in the morning to see the pumpkin patch in all its glory.
Even though we weren’t there to pick apples, I could help but peer through the leaves of the trees to see what was left. The previous weekend was the apple festival, and with all these kinds of events I can see a few more trips to the Orchard next fall….
All in all, it was a great fall day for the two of us!
